On December 13–14, 2025, the first-ever Theatre Jazz workshops in Poland were led by James Kinney. It was an intensive, two-day training weekend, totaling 18 hours of top-level artistic work.
The workshop program went far beyond traditional technical training. In addition to working on jazz dance technique and choreographic repertoire, the event included an exclusive artistic project carried out with a carefully selected group of 15 dancers chosen through casting.
Under the watchful eye of James Kinney, participants took part in professional rehearsals and preparations for an original film project—a dance video—produced in accordance with stage and film production standards.
This two-day workshop was not only an intensive dose of dance but also a true treasure trove of knowledge, inspiration, and experiences that are difficult to gain in standard educational settings. Working on a project directed by James Kinney was a tremendous honor and an unprecedented experience for the participants—a unique opportunity to work on set with a Broadway and film director whose productions have received the most prestigious awards worldwide.
