SPOTLIGHT is a professional musical theatre program inspired by the work of Bob Fosse and the tradition of American musical theatre training.
Founded in 2020 by Kamila Kwietniewska, the program offers comprehensive musical theatre training, audition preparation, workshops, artistic projects, and international collaborations.
In 2025, SPOTLIGHT became the first program in Europe to officially collaborate with the Verdon Fosse Legacy (VFL), organizing the first-ever FOSSE workshops on the continent. From the very beginning, the program has worked with icons of both the Polish and international musical theatre scene, such as James Kinney and Jackie Aitken, giving participants access to world-class knowledge and experience.
Focusing on training triple-threat performers—dancers, actors, and vocalists—SPOTLIGHT combines technique, performance skills, and artistic expression, preparing participants to work at the highest levels of musical theatre.
LONG - TERM GOAL OR A DREAM?
The goal, and at the same time the dream, is to create a new dimension of the musical theatre scene in Poland, based on impeccable jazz technique as well as the class and elegance of the classic Broadway stage from the past century. The project aims to bring together, in the spirit of New York musical theatre, only the best artists with professional experience in dance, singing, and acting.
